Saby55
is our Artist of the Month for November 2019. Saby55 is an Italian artist with a gift for creating gritty and exciting 3D scenes as well as realistic photography. He joined Renderosity recently in August of 2018. Already Saby55 has 60 followers and a growing gallery of interesting artworks.

Brief Interview with Artist of the Month Saby55
Tell us where you are from and a bit about your background. Are you self-taught or did you go to school for art?
Saby55: I live in Milan (Italy), my training as an artist dates back to the times, since I was a child I always liked to paint and draw (in pencil and in ink). In short, it has always been my passion, so I consider myself a self-taught person.
With the advent of new technologies my passion found its outlet in computer graphics. Without going to school but looking at the various tutorials on the web, I learned to use Photoshop, Poser and finally DazStudio, a program I still use and to which I'm very attached. I don't have a specific way on how I create my work, sometimes I start to create a character and as I get the inspiration.
What is your typical work process? For example, on "Salt" (a piece you did last year) where did you get the idea and how did the scene develop in your imagination
Saby55: On Salt I got the inspiration from the angelina jolie movie. The Renderosity site gave me the opportunity to know and share my own passions with others
