• All files must be in a zip format (not rar or any other compressed file). No unzipped items will be accepted.
• Thumbnails must be 300x350px. Supported formats include .jpg, .png, and .gif.
• Promo Images must have a minimum width of 800px and a maximum width of 1200px. If not within this range, images will be proportionally scaled. Supported formats include .jpg, .png, and .gif.
• File size is limited to 200 MB.
• Proper category placement by the provider is required. Items not in proper categories may have a delayed or declined release. If unsure of the category, contact any Freestuff staff member for assistance before uploading.
• All Free Stuff submissions of tubes, backgrounds, and poses must be submitted in bundles of at least 3 tubes, backgrounds, or poses.
• Submissions cannot include mixed products.
• Each bundle must contain at least either 3 tubes, 3 backgrounds, or 3 poses.
• Each bundle must be theme-related (e.g., 3 woodland backgrounds, 3 cityscape backgrounds, 3 dance poses, or 3 tree tubes).

 HTML

While browsing through the freestuff we noticed some items that have been using HTML in the file upload area. This is not allowed. This circumvents the freestuff hosting policy and upload requirements.

The only place html is allowed is in the details section for such things as additional product promos, {images that break the table will be removed} or more information about that specific item. 

Links in Details Section

Text links {not banner ads} are allowed also in the details section, but the link can only lead to the specific item being offered. It cannot lead to your personal website freestuff pages.

Links to offsite commercial products are not allowed.

File Upload Box

The only thing that can be placed in this box is a zipped archive containing the actual item advertised. No Text Links or HTML in a text document are allowed.

We have the Freestuff Forum here for the exact purpose of placing links to yours or others' freestuff items offsite. This is where you may place links to your freestuff pages.

We made this forum for that very purpose, that and getting the freestuff links out of the other forums and getting them all in one place. So we aren't completely stopping all offsite personal freestuff pages, nor links to them...it’s just no longer allowed in the upload/download area.
