Extended License Products & Poser Pro Game Dev Edition
For those of you who have kept up with the changes surrounding our Standard and Extended Licenses (http://www.renderosity.com/important-notice-license-update-cms-17054) that was announced in April, you may have noticed the Extended License products hitting our Marketplace. Renderosity has been working hard to bring you more options when it comes to the 3D Models that have the Extended License that can be used in games, and our catalog of these products are growing daily, so please check back regularly. If you see a product in our Marketplace that you would like to have an Extended License to use and you do not see it available, please email us at license@renderosity.com so can get that setup for you.
Many of our Marketplace items require base figures from other stores, so it is very important that you have the proper licensing rights before purchasing an Extended License for clothing, character or morph add-on products for certain base figures.
If you missed the April announcement, now is a great time to read how Renderosity items can be used based on which license you purchase. The first (and most common) is our Standard License while the second license type is our Extended License. It's extremely important that you know the difference between the two so that your intended use of the product does not conflict with its licensing agreement. Of course, if you have any questions, we are always glad to help you by emailing license@renderosity.com.
With the continued growth of real-time 3D gaming like Unity and Smith Micro's recent release of their Poser Pro Game Dev Software, we believe it's the perfect time to consider purchasing the Extended License products, or even creating them if you are a 3d modeler. You may have noticed that there is a growing collection of MarketPlace products that include 'Extended License' in the product title. These products offer the buyer, among other things, the ability to decimate (reduce polygon count) original obj files to reduced sized obj files that are more friendly for 3D gaming applications. Participation of Extended License products are up to each vendor and their respective products, so we want to encourage you to let us know if you want specific products to have the Extended License available.
Please know that products with an Extended License do not automatically show up in the What's Hot, What's New or within a vendor's store, but they do show up in searches AND show on regular Standard License products *IF* an extended license is available. You can also visit a specific vendor's store and conduct a store search for 'extended license' to see what might be available within that particular store.

Please note that going forward there will be a special note (see sample image below) on 'regular' products when an Extended License is available and a tab called Extended (only when an Extended License exist) that links to the extended license product. At any time you can also search "extended license" to see a list of all the extended license products available. The list for these types of products is growing daily, so please check back often.
If you're interested in a specific product that DOES NOT currently have an Extended License associated with it, please email us at: license@renderosity.com.
