Our weekly news video covers Renderosity.com news along with hand-picked Digital Arts news from Renderosity Magazine. Computer graphics, digital art and much more.

  • The Gallery of the Week is the Rural/Countryscape gallery. This beautiful gallery features scenes of country life with streams, fields, forests, shacks and more. It's small, but still very interesting and the work is excellent. We chose 10 artists from the Rural/Countryscape gallery for the Gallery of the Week video.

  • This week the Pulse looks at the Morphing Tool and how it can help you keep your hat on! Have you ever wanted to use a particular headpiece in Poser but found the included morphs limiting? Was your choice of hair determined by that? The Morphing Tool in Poser allows you to use any hair you like - no matter how big - with the headwear of your choice. And note that Rhi's Hatz by RPublishing is now available at 50% off until Wednesday, May 5th 9:59 am (cdt).

  • Renderosity's Free Stuff marketplace page has some excellent new...uh...stuff! Every day Renderosity members donate their creations to this very popular marketplace. We are always amazed at the things you can find there completely free to registered Renderosity members. This week there is a Captain Picard morph, some great stone wall textures, some creepy trees, and more! Follow the link and we're sure you'll find something you like.

  • The Artist of the Month is dochtersions. After a tight vote, Renderosity members chose this outstanding fractal artist (and nature photographer) to be our AOM for the month of May 2021. We are working on an interview with dochtersions and will post it in a week or so. Visit her gallery if you get the chance - it's great!

  • Scan the World: An Open-Source Museum. Scan the World is an ambitious initiative that gives you the possibility to enjoy 3D printable representations of cultural artifacts in a remarkably tangible way. The collective effort is as much about renowned historical artifacts as it is about household antiques with deep culturally significant roots.
  • Budget Chair, Comfortable, Easy to Assemble by M.D. McCallum. Yes, you read that right. A budget chair ($90 to $150) that’s not only comfortable but has a tilting back and the best part... easy to put together. Now let’s take that slowly because I’m not sure you got that last point... EASY to put together.
