This is fefecoolyellow's second Vendor of the Month pick. She won back in January of 2021. Although she has only been a Renderosity member since 2020, fefecoolyellow has really made an impact with her stylish and modern fashion designs. We also love her posing skills which give the characters who wear her fashions a life of their own. The women she poses are often bold and independent looking. We’ve chosen 12 works from her store to feature in our video gallery.
Fefecoolyellow spoke to us last March and we are reprinting that interview here along with updated questions regarding her recent work and working methods. Although English is not her first language (she is from Algeria), we think she responds just fine in English. Congratulations to fefecoolyellow on being chosen the August Vendor of the Month.
Be sure to look for her Vendor sale with discounts on all of her store creations. The sale starts on August 20th, 2021.
Renderosity: I’m so impressed with the quality and style of your DAZ fashions: how did you come to acquire the skill? Are you self-taught or do you have a background in 3D creation?
fefecoolyellow: I love everything related to the world of fashion since my childhood and my skills have evolved with time and experience. I discovered the 3d field through my repeated search for anything that makes my designs alive.
How do you research your fashion styles?
Sometimes I get suggestions from some friends. I want to thank them for that, but I often find my designs by chance because I follow a lot of everything related to fashion, whether it is on Google, magazines, or TV.
Why have you chosen DAZ as your creative tool?
It was the first program I knew in this field and I could not change it. It makes my designs realistic and that’s all I needed
How has Renderosity made a difference in your life?
Words fail to describe the difference that happened in my life because of Renderosity, I had muscular dystrophy when I was five years old, I stopped studying because of my health condition, and I became confined to a wheelchair.
I didn’t do anything but fashion design in my teens, but after I became an adult, even fashion design. It no longer delights me. I thought many times about suicide and getting rid of my pain, but I did not have enough courage to do so, the most painful thing for me was that all of my friends had a life, work to do, except for me, I eat and then I sleep nothing new, until I got to know the site Renderosity and tried it, I was not expecting to success, but people loved my designs and I am very happy and satisfied with that. There are no words that express my gratitude to you. thank you so much
What plans do you have for any future projects?
I don’t want to stay in one style, I always try to change my designs, and certainly, I hope to become better and develop myself more
Do you have anything you’d like to add before we close the interview?
I want to add something, which is my thanks to everyone on Renderosity. Thank you for making my dream come true. Words cannot describe my gratitude to you guys sorry for my bad English
