Poser Support: A Human Touch in a Digital World

Feb 06, 2023 at 07:30 am by gToon

As a customer of Poser Software, you may have noticed that we pride ourselves on providing top-notch customer support. Unlike many of our competitors, our support is not based on a community-driven model. Instead, we have a dedicated team of customer support specialists who are there to assist you when you need it. In this blog post, we'll explain why this human-driven approach sets us apart and is a valuable benefit to those who purchase our software.

What is Community-Driven Support?

Community-driven support is a model in which customers help each other with software-related issues. The idea is that users who have already encountered a particular problem can help others who are experiencing the same issue. This type of support is typically free and is often provided in forums, online communities, and social media groups.

While community-driven support can be a useful resource, it has several limitations. For example, the information provided may not be accurate, up-to-date, or applicable to your particular situation. Additionally, the support may be slow, as it relies on volunteers who may not be available when you need help. Finally, community-driven support often lacks the personal touch that comes with human-driven customer support.

Why Poser Offers Human-Driven Customer Support

At Poser Software, we understand that software can be complex, and that you may need help using our products. That's why we've created a team of customer support specialists who are knowledgeable and experienced in our software. Our team is there to help you every step of the way, from answering questions about our products to assisting you with technical issues.

One of the main benefits of human-driven customer support is that it provides a more personalized experience. Our customer support specialists will get to know you and your needs, and will work with you to find the best solution for your specific situation. This personalized approach is not possible with community-driven support, where you're just another user in a sea of many.

Another benefit of human-driven customer support is that it's more reliable. Our online support team is available 24/7 by opening a ticket at https://support.posersoftware.com and our goal is to provide a response to your tickets within 24 hours (often much sooner), and we have processes in place to ensure that your issue is resolved as quickly as possible. In contrast, community-driven support may not be available when you need it, and resolving issues can take longer.

Finally, human-driven customer support is more accurate. Our team is trained and knowledgeable about our software, so you can trust that the information and advice you receive is accurate and up-to-date. We are a small company so in many cases the team members replying to your support questions also work alongside our development team.  For the most frequently asked questions, our team maintains a knowledge-base of most helpful solutions.  With community-driven support, there's no guarantee that the information you receive is correct.

In conclusion, human-driven customer support is a better option for those who need help with software. At Poser Software, we believe in providing our customers with the best possible support experience. Our dedicated team of customer support specialists is there to help you when you need it, and we're committed to ensuring that you're satisfied with our products and services. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Human-Driven support is a better option for all business types. It is a shame so much of the world has either turned away from it, or abandoned customer support all together. Please do not ever change to community Driven support.
I like that here is a combination. The Poser community started as a group of users in a forum with much support of each other. As changes and complexity evolved the need for Human-Driven became obvious and is welcome. The community is still there, but for the deep need the support team is there. It's the best of both worlds.
