A wolf pack is sleeping in the woods. Two wolf cubs wake up and start playing. A young wolf, keeping an eye on the cubs, is distracted and suddenly one of the cubs falls in a crack and dies.
The young wolf is held responsible and is banished from the pack by the alpha wolf.
During his exile, the young wolf recovers his pack's tracks and discovers a trapper's camp. A gunshot fires and wolf howls are heard through the trees.
The young wolf finds his pack pushed to the mountain and the trapper shooting them....
