CONTEST THEME: Your image MUST show a LANDSCAPE and have for theme
"HARVEST". This can be a scene of gathering in agricultural crops,
harvest in a garden or... "harvest" : 1. the season when grains and
fruits are gathered. 2. the gathering of a crop. 3. a ripe crop;
also : the quantity of a crop gathered in a single season. 4. the
product or reward of effort. (Webster's New Encyclopedic
Dictionnary) WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER? Open to all registered
Renderosity members, administrators and moderators. The contest
manager cannot enter. WHEN DOES IT START? The contest starts on
September 1, 2002 and will end on September 30, 2002 3:00 a.m.ET
(9:00 a.m.GMT). HOW THE WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED? Selected judges
from our sponsors will vote to determine the winning entries, and
the winners will be announced on October 11, 2002. RULES: Please
read carefully! 1.) Entries must be related to the contest theme.
2.) Static images ONLY. Images MUST NOT EXCEED a size of 800 pixels
in width and 600 pixels in height. Images must not exceed 180 KB in
file size. Images may be smaller, but must not exceed these
guidelines. Thumbnails MUST NOT EXCEED 100x100 pixels and not more
then 12 KB in file size. Images MUST be in .JPEG (.jpg) format
ONLY. 3.) All images MUST be made with 3D software, any version, up
to and including any DEMO version. 2D software is not permitted.
4.) Only ONE image per person allowed - even if that person has
multiple Renderosity accounts. To see what you are really able to
do in your 3D software, ONLY MINOR POST WORK IS PERMITTED FOR
BENDING PARTS ON POSER FIGURES, NOTHING ELSE, NO OTHER POSTWORK!!!.
5.) (IMPORTANT) When uploading your image you have to write in this
order: a)TITLE b)SOFTWARE AND VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE USED,
indicate if you used a DEMO 6.) All works must be your original
works, and must have never been posted anywhere on the internet,
prior to the contest, or during the contest. This includes any of
the galleries at Renderosity. Contest entries will only be allowed
to be posted elsewhere after the final judging has been done and
the winners have been selected. 7.) Artists grant permission to
Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined
period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front
page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the
intellectual property holder. 8.) No Nudity. Think of this as a
"family-oriented" contest. If you are uncertain as to what this
means, please ask in the Vue d'Esprit forum. here at Renderosity.
By entering this contest, I agree to all of the above guidelines
and rules. I understand that the Contest Manager has the right to
accept or decline any submitted images, based on these guidelines
and rules. Any entry which falls outside these rules or the given
theme will be ineligible. Any attempt to circumvent these rules may
result in the suspension of future contest entry privileges Any
questions regarding the contest may be asked in the Vue d'Esprit
forum. PRIZES: 4 Prizes for the 4 best images!!! This is a Vue
d'Esprit contest, so the first winner will get a copy of Vue
dEsprit 4 (PC or MAC). If -but only if- the First Place winner's
image was created in Vue d'Esprit 4, then the winner has the option
of choosing another prize from the list Zbrush 1.23 (PC or MAC)
Carrara 1 (PC or MAC) Trillium CD's (PC or MAC) and the second
place winner will be awarded Vue d'Esprit 4. If -but only if- the
Second Place winner's image was created in Vue d'Esprit 4, then the
winner has the option of choosing a remaining prize from the
list... The rest of the prizes will then be redistributed as close
to the original prize list as possible. If there are less then 12
entries, possibly not all prices can be given away in this contest.
