The year's theme: "Stocking Stuffers"

So many of us can't wait to rush down the stairs and tear apart those neatly wrapped gifts awaiting us underneath the tree. However, before we get to the 'main course', we can't forget about those perfectly packed stuffed felt stockings dangling from the mantle. The contents may not have made our fantasy Holiday wishlist, but they are certain to provide hours of entertainment for days and weeks to come.

So what is hidden in your family's stockings this year? We'd like to see your idea as you spread Holiday cheer around Renderosity. Get ready. In just a few short days, we'll be opening up this year's contest and are excited to see the gifts you have to offer!

All members can enter, except contest Manager and Admins
Any software program can be used
Start: Friday, November 7, 2014 Ends: Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:00 am [CDT] (Renderosity Server Time)
Community Voting: December 16-30, 2014
Winners announced: Friday, January 2, 2015
Entries MUST be time-stamped by December 15, 2014 9:59 am [CDT], or they will not be accepted 1 entry per person, per category
Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly
Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted
1 prize package per person across all Holiday Contest categories
Winner's Announcement will be posted on the Renderosity FrontPage and this official contest page

Entry Specifications

Image size can be up to 1200 pixels height/width maximum .jpeg
Thumbnail image must be included 300 X 350 pixels in .jpeg
Both the full-size image and the thumbnail are required Entries (entrants can enter, but not with the same entry image that previously won)
Must not have previously won a Renderosity Contest
All images must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service for thumbnails
No Nudity is allowed on thumbnail and full image
All entries will remain anonymous
You cannot sign your real name nor Renderosity username on your image or in the description. Any signed images, will not be accepted.
You MUST include a description in the blank field to tell what type of software you used, what inspired you, time it took to create the image.
You may also include anything else about the image you wish to share.
Images without a description will not be approved and will be asked to re-upload with the description included.
Images that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes but is not limited to, emailing and site-mailing members.
We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise.
Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time stamped by December 15, 2014 9:59 am(CDT). Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry, if need be.
By uploading your image, you are agreeing that this is your original work

Additional Specifications for Animation files:

Renderosity will be hosting the files.
Audio is optional but desirable. (NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music.)
Animation File Size: 50 MB maximum.
Animation Time: Entry should not exceed 60 seconds in duration.
Animation formats: DivX, .avi, .mpg, .wmv, or standard .mov.

Community Voting

The winners will be selected by the community
All clone votes will be removed

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address, and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.

By entering this contest, you agree that all submission may be used by Renderosity for promotional purposes: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held.

By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant Renderosity the permission to use of your image in print advertising, promotions or website usage. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their images.
