General Contest Rules:

• All Renderosity members are eligible to enter with the exception of Contest Managers and Admins.
• Any software program can be used.
• Submissions will be open beginning on Monday, September 10th at 10:00am (cdt) and will end at 11:59pm (cdt) on Wednesday, October 17th.
• Community voting will begin on Thursday, October 18th at 12:00am (cdt) and will close at 10:00am (cdt) on Thursday, October 25th.
• Winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 31st.
• Entries MUST be time-stamped by Wednesday, October 17th at 11:58pm (cdt), or they will not be accepted. Only one (1) entry per person, per category.
• Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly.
• Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted.
• For those members who submit an entry to two or more categories, only one (1) prize package is available per person across all Halloween Contest categories.
• Winner's Announcement will be posted in the Renderosity News Section and this official contest page.

Entry Specifications:

• Image size must be a maximum of 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels in .jpeg or .gif format (72 dpi).
• Thumbnail image must be maximum of 300 pixels (wide) x 350 pixels (height) in .jpeg or .gif format (72 dpi). Here is a helpful tutorial on How to make Full Image Thumbnails
• Both the full-size image and the thumbnail are required to enter.
• Entries of previously winning submissions will not be accepted.
• All images must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service for thumbnails.
• No Nudity is allowed on the thumbnail and/or full image.
• All entries will remain anonymous.
• You cannot sign your real name, nor Renderosity username, on your image or in the description. Any signed images, will not be accepted.
• You MUST include a description in the blank field to tell what type of software you used, what inspired you and how long it took to create the image.
• You may also include anything else about the image you wish to share.
• Images without a description will not be approved and will be asked to re-upload with the description included.
• Images that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
• Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes, but is not limited to, emailing and site-mailing members.
• We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise.
• Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time stamped by 9:59am (cdt) on Friday October 13th, 2017. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry if need be.
• By uploading your image, you are agreeing that this is your original work.

Additional Information:

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.

By entering this contest, you agree that your submission(s) may be used by Renderosity for promotional purposes. This may include; online, digital, print, on CD or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in its archive and to display the entry within this community to promote Renderosity and/or future contests held.
