General Contest Rules:

• All Renderosity members are eligible to enter with the exception of Contest Managers and Admins.
• Any software program can be used.
• Submissions will be open beginning on Wednesday, November 14th at 10:00am (cst) and will end at 10:00am (cst) on Monday, December 17th.
• Community voting will begin on Wednesday, December 19th at 10:00am (cst) and will close at 10:00am (cst) on Friday, December 28th.
• Winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 2nd 2019.
• Entries MUST be time-stamped by Monday, December 17th at 9:59am (cst), or they will not be accepted. Only one (1) entry per person, per category.
• Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly.
• Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted.
• For those members who submit an entry to two or more categories, only one (1) prize package is available per person across all Holiday Contest categories.
• Winner's Announcement will be posted in the Renderosity News Section and this official contest page.

Entry Specifications:

• Short Story must be a maximum of 1000 words or less
• Thumbnail Image: MUST be included 300x350 pixels. Here is a helpful tutorial on How to make Full Image Thumbnails
• Save and upload THIS image in both the Image and Thumbnail field. (You must upload both or the system will not accept the entry.)
• Do NOT use HTML formatting.
• Double space between paragraphs.
• Entries must not have previously won a Renderosity Contest.
• All stories must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service.
• Any submission depicting violence will be disqualified.
• A submission that violates the copyright of any original works that the themes were inspired from will be disqualified.
• Use the description field to tell us your tale, noting what inspired you.
• Include the word count at the end of the story.
• Stories that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
• Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes, but is not limited to, emailing and site mailing members.
• We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry, if need be. Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time stamped by Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 9:59am (cst).
• By uploading your image, you are agreeing that this is your original work.

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.
