General Contest Rules:

* All Renderosity members are eligible to enter with the exception of Contest Managers and Admins. * Any software program can be used. * Submissions will be open beginning on **September 10th at 10 am (CT) and will end at 10 am (CT) on October 10th**. * Community voting will begin on **October 10th at 10 am (CT) and will close at 10 am (CT) on October 25th.** * Winners will be announced on **October 31st.** * Entries MUST be time-stamped by **October 10th at 9:58 am (CT),** or they will not be accepted. Only one (1) entry per person, per category. * We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry, if need be. Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time-stamped by **October 10th at 9:58 am (CT)** * Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly * Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted. * For those members who submit an entry to two or more categories, only one (1) prize package is available per person across all Halloween Contest categories. * Winner's Announcement will be posted in the Renderosity News Section and this official contest page.

Entry Specifications:

* Any style of writing is accepted that comply with this years Halloween theme maximum of 1000 words or less. Must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service * Thumbnail Image: MUST be included 300x350 pixels. Here is a helpful tutorial on [How to make Full Image Thumbnails ](https://www.renderosity.com/mod/tutorial/index.php?tutorial_id=968) * Save and upload THIS image in both the Image and Thumbnail field. (You must upload both or the system will not accept the entry.) * Do NOT use HTML formatting. * Double-space between paragraphs. * Entries must not have previously won a Renderosity Contest. * All stories must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service * Use the description field to tell us your tale, noting what inspired you. * Include the word count at the end of the story. * Stories that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed. * Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes, but is not limited to, emailing and site mailing members. * By uploading your image, you are agreeing that this is your original work.

Community Voting:

* The winners will be selected by the community * All clone votes will be removed.

Additional Information

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.
