The Carrara/Raydream forum at Renderosity is having an image contest opened to all Carrara and Raydream Studio users. The winner will receive a copy of "Lots of Shaders" for Carrara offered by our sponsor litst. The topic for this contest is "Construction"

Here are the rules :

  • The contest is open to all Renderosity members . It ends on January 31st, 2003. Members can submit as many entries as they want .
  • The topic of the contest is "Construction". Create an image which depicts the construction of something (building of a ship, construction of a building, assembly line in a factory, etc.). Good luck!
  • The image must be made mostly with Carrara or Raydream Studio. The use of other softwares based on the same technology is permitted ( Coreldream, Infini-D... ). Post render is allowed.
  • The image must be still, in .jpg of .gif format, 800x800 pixels maximum, and preferably less than 150KB. Of course, it has to illustrate the theme. Nudity is not allowed.
  • Just a reminder, thumbnails can only be maximum of 100x100.
  • Judges and the moderator (Kixum) can enter but they can't win.

Judges will be:

  • Scott Franz (Kixum)
  • Ludovic Piroud (litst), our sponsor .

The winner will receive a copy of "Lots of Shaders" by litst for Carrara, PC or Mac. "Lots of Shaders" Lots of Shaders! is a collection of preset shaders for the 3D suite Carrara Studio 2.1 edited by Eovia. Designed to be flexible and useful, these shaders cover a wide range of materials. You'll find all you need to quickly create seas, metals, tiles, terrains, skies, cheeses (!)... And because most of the shaders are procedural, you can easily edit them to fit your needs.

Plus, in accordance with our little tradition, the winner will be a judge in the next contest, and will have to find its theme.
Good luck !

If you have any questions, please contact Kixum.
