This year's Renderosity Holiday Card Contest theme is: Open Ended

Spread good tidings this holiday season by creating an awesome image for the cover of Renderosity's annual holiday greeting card that will be sent out to all Renderosity staff and the top 50 vendors. If you would like to be the talk of the holiday party, then enter now!

General Contest Rules:

All Renderosity members are eligible to enter with the exception of Contest Managers.
Any software program can be used.
Submissions will be open beginning on September 18th at 10 am (CT) and will end at 10 am (CT) on October 18th.
Staff voting will begin on October 18th at 10 am (CT) and will close at 10 am (CT) on October 28th.
Winners will be announced on October 29th.
Entries MUST be time-stamped by October 18th at 9:58 am (CT), or they will not be accepted. Only one (1) entry per person, per category.
We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry, if need be. Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time-stamped by October 10th at 9:58 am (CT)
Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly.
Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted.
For those members who submit an entry to two or more categories, only one (1) prize package is available per person across all Halloween Contest categories.
Winner's Announcement will be posted in the Renderosity News Section and this official contest page.

Entry Specifications:

Image size must be 5.125 inches Width x 7.125 inches Height to allow for bleed in printing for a Portrait style 5" X 7" Greeting Card .jpeg (72 dpi) for the entry and 300 dpi for print by October 30th if you win.
Thumbnail image must be maximum of 300 pixels (wide) x 350 pixels (height) in .jpeg or .gif format (72 dpi). Here is a helpful tutorial on How to make Full Image Thumbnails
Both the full-size image and the thumbnail are required to enter.
Entries of previously winning submissions will not be accepted.
All images must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service for thumbnails.
No Nudity is allowed on the thumbnail and/or full image.
All entries will remain anonymous.
You cannot sign your real name, nor Renderosity username, on your image or in the description. Any signed images, will not be accepted.
Images that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes, but is not limited to, emailing and site-mailing members.
By uploading your image, you are agreeing that this is your original work.

Staff Voting:

The winners will be selected by the Renderosity Staff.

Additional Information:

Grand Prize Winner MUST provide a 300 dpi .jpeg 5.125 inches Width x 7.125 inches Height to allow for bleed in printing.

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.

By entering this contest, you agree that your submission(s) may be used by Renderosity for promotional purposes. This may include; online, digital, print, on CD or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in its archive and to display the entry within this community to promote Renderosity and/or future contests held.

By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant Renderosity the permission to use of your image in print advertising, promotions or website usage. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their images.
