Swimsuits

From 8th Century BC through 6th Century AD, swimming was done in the nude or in one's underwear. In Victorian times, swimsuits started entering the picture more, but their bulkiness and loose fabric posed a hazard. By the time the 20th Century came around, swimming had become a popular pastime and swimsuits were streamlined. Swimsuits are now made to showcase a swimmer's playful personality or to amplify their need for speed in the water. We would like you to show us a swimsuit from any period or one that has not been invented yet that will make us want to hit the pool, splash at a water park, or lounge in a beach chair for a little sunbathing.

All Renderosity members are eligible to enter, except for staff.
Images entered in previous Renderosity contests are not permitted.
Original images and previously posted images, such as on FB or the Renderosity Galleries, but have not been previously entered in a Renderosity contest, are permitted to be entered.
5 entries per person permitted.
You are permitted to repost your entries online, such as on FB or the Renderosity Galleries, talk about your entries, and encourage others to come view or enter the contest. Use the hashtag #2024RenderositySwimsuitContest
If a profanity, violence, or nudity tag would be required for your entry, the entry cannot be used in the contest.
Questionable entries will be sent for Staff Review and take 24 hours to get back. If you submit an image that has to be sent for Staff Review, and there is not enough time left before the contest deadline to conduct the Staff Review, it will be rejected.
No thumbnail is required, it is automatically generated for you.
No nudity is allowed. Nudity is defined as exposure greater than what can be seen wearing a string-thong bikini. However, regardless of attire, an image presented in a manner that may be inappropriate will be sent for a Staff Review.
Images that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
By uploading your entry, you are agreeing that this is your original work.
A.I. Art created by a seed image or keyword input is not permitted. However, post-processing of an image created entirely by the artist for color correction, tone, saturation, and adding effects using A.I. software is permitted. You must be able to state that you own the image and that no part of the image can conflict with any copyright laws. A detailed workflow must be entered in the description box. Please be prepared to send the managers your original image upon request.
Any entry containing violence, blood, brutality or gore that is implied or explicit will be removed.
Any entry containing weapons of any kind, or objects to be used as weapons, is subject to review for violence.
Any entry containing childlike imagery in suggestive poses will be removed.
Renderosity reserves the right to modify the rules as needed for unforeseen circumstances.
Winners will be announced on this contest page.

Entry Specifications

Image size may be a minimum of 600 x 600 pixels, or up to a maximum of 1200 x 1200 pixels, and any size in-between. Clarification: The length and width can be no smaller than 600 pixels, nor larger than 1200 pixels. Example: 600 x 1200, 700 x 900, 600 x 1200, 845 x 1199.
Acceptable image formats are: .jpeg, .png, or .gif format (72 dpi).
You cannot sign your real name, Renderosity username, or use any logos on your image or thumbnail, or in the description box. Contest is anonymous, but you can promote your entry and post it online with the hashtag: #2024RenderositySwimsuitContest
