Here are the rules :

• The contest is open to all Renderosity members . It ends on April 30th, 2003, Midnight Server Time. Members can submit as many entries as they want .
• The topic of the contest is "Bugs, Plants and Flowers". Create an image which has Bugs, Plants, or Flowers in a natural setting. Good luck!
• The image must be made mostly with Carrara or Raydream Studio. The use of other softwares based on the same technology is permitted ( Coreldream, Infini-D... ). Post render is allowed.
• The image must be still, in .jpg of .gif format, 800x800 pixels maximum, and preferably less than 150KB. Of course, it has to illustrate the theme. Nudity is not allowed.
• Just a reminder, thumbnails can only be maximum of 100x100.
• Judges and the moderator (Kixum) can enter but they can't win.

The winner will receive a copy of the Carrara Studio 2 Tutorial CD for Carrara offered by our sponsor Eovia. With this Virtual Training Company tutorial CD, Doug Sahlin, author of the Carrara 1 Bible, will guide you through learning the tools of Carrara Studio 2 to create 3D scenes and objects, using the Spline, Vertex, and Metaball modelers, creating textures, rendering finished scenes, and creating and rendering animations.
