April Poser Forum Challenge "Heros / Heroines"

Contest Theme:

Challenge theme is Heros and Heroines. Any hero/heroine - real, legendary or outright fictional.It's time to give some recognition to the good people who produce all the lovely free stuff we use so much.Entrants may use one commercial product, all the rest (including pose) must be free or made on your own.So, any kind of picture (within the usual restrictions about nudity, etc), which can use 1 commercially available figure (and no multiples) with all the rest - skin texture, hair, clothes, background, props, sets, etc - freebies.Your one commercial item means: free items given to beta testers as gifts; all figures/poses included with the Poser software (primitive are ok to use and do not count as commercial); any commercial item bought from a third party site.Go surfing the free stuff here and your favorite freebie sites and see what you can make. Remember to give credits for the items you use.

Contest Rules:

• Final render must be in Poser, any version.
• No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. Lets keep it clean.
• Please click here for a more descriptive definition and rules page and always remember the TOS.
• Open to all Renderosity members.
• Please keep the images to a maximum of 800 pixels by 600 pixels and not more than 150k.
• Thumbnail size must be 100 X 100 pixels.
• Challenge starts April 1, 2003 and ends Monday night, April 21st, 2003 at midnight Renderosity time.
• One image per person. Feel free to post your WIP's in the forum for feedback.
• The winner picks the next month's theme subject to approval by the challenge managers.

Judging / Voting:

• Voting will take place in the forum in a special thread after the challenge closes and is open to all forum members.
• Voting will begin at close of the challenge, Midnight, April 21, 2003 and will close midnight, April 24, 2003. The winners will be posted shortly after the close.
• In the thread, give 3 points to the best image, 2 points to the next best and 1 point to your third best choice.
• First place winner will be the one with the most points. Second and Third place accordingly.
• First place winner picks the theme for the next month, subject to approval with the challenge managers.
• Announcement of winners will be in the Poser forum as well as on the challenge page.

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder.
