May Poser Forum Challenge "Beloved Pets"

Contest Theme:

Challenge theme is Beloved Pets.Show us the pet you loved and (optional) tell us a brief personal story.Must have an unusual camera angle and/or focal length. As a suggestion, 35-55 works great for landscapes and 70-150 works great for portraits, but do as you like!If you find a camera angle/focal length you like, remember the camera dots will let you save that while you adjust more.The idea here is to get away from the default camera angle so be unusual about it!Backdrops, postwork, and imported models OK.

Contest Rules:

• Final render must be in Poser, any version.
• No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. Lets keep it clean.
• Please click here for a more descriptive definition and rules page and always remember the TOS.
• Open to all Renderosity members.
• Please keep the images to a maximum of 800 pixels by 600 pixels and not more than 150k.
• Thumbnail size must be 100 X 100 pixels.
• Challenge starts May 1, 2003 and ends Monday night, May 19th, 2003 at midnight Renderosity time.
• One image per person. Feel free to post your WIP's in the forum for feedback.
• The winner picks the next month's theme subject to approval by the challenge managers.

Judging / Voting:

• Voting will take place in the forum in a special thread after the challenge closes and is open to all forum members.
• Voting will begin at close of the challenge, Midnight, May 19, 2003 and will close midnight, May 22, 2003. The winners will be posted shortly after the close.
• In the thread, give 3 points to the best image, 2 points to the next best and 1 point to your third best choice.
• First place winner will be the one with the most points. Second and Third place accordingly.
• First place winner picks the theme for the next month, subject to approval with the challenge managers.
• Announcement of winners will be in the Poser forum as well as on the challenge page.

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder.
