Congratulations to MindVision-GDS for winning our 2003 Renderosity Graphic Design Logo Contest! Every few years we engage our members into a Renderosity logo contest. With this new logo, we will be changing the appearance of Renderosity as well - a new look! Come on and enter your work. The contest entries will begin on Monday April 21st through May 23rd 2003. The community will select the top 25 of the entries, admin will make the final decision, and an announcement will be made on June 5th 2003. Open to all Renderosity members including mods, testers, and the magazine team (excludes Admin and Bondware staff). Don't be concerned about creating a design set that matches our color scheme. We will change our colors to match. Starts 4/21/03 and Closes on 5/23/03 Voting by the community 5/24 - 5/30 The top 25 highest voted entries get selected Admins vote the final winner 5/31 - 6/04 Announcement is made on 6/05/03 through our newsletter and on the front page. Product uploaded: (640x640 image in jpg format that includes all 8 images listed. 8 images that will be displayed...Top header (300x90), Marketplace (160x50), Web Ring (100x30), Web Ring (150x75), Web Ring (468x60), 2 Renderosity Banners (468x60), and Art Image (200x200). Prizes: $500 cash All images will be posted on renderosity as our header logo, marketplace logo, web ring logo, the artwork will be displayed in the about us section and at the bottom of the sidebar, and we will use the general banners on other sites as well as within Renderosity. Signature of the artist on the Header logo and Art image will be added once the winner is selected. The winner will be listed on this contest page and entered into our Journey - Renderosity Logos area for a historical representation. Contest Rules: Your image must use our "Renderosity font" (Click here for PC) or (Click here for MAC) you can use the black or white logo provided or create a different color. "Marketplace" and "Web Ring" does not have to use the same font. In the header logo, use only the word "Renderosity" and in the marketplace logo, use only the word "Marketplace". Static images only, animations are excluded. All images must represent Renderosity's community feel. All works must be original. Artists give permission to Renderosity for the use of the logos for an undetermined period of time. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder. One entry per member and edited work is allowed. No Nudity The contest will be anonymous and will not display members usernames. Image size is 640x640 in jpg format including all 8 images. The winner will be requested to send the images in TIFF format at 300dpi. Entries will be voted by the community during 5/24 - 5/30. The top 25 entries with the most votes will be selected. Admin team will be the final judges and will vote 5/31 - 6/04. Admin members and Bondware staff cannot participate in the contest. Something to think about... What are the judges looking for?
