August Poser Forum Challenge "ACROSS THE DIMENSIONS"

Challenge Theme:

• Across the Dimensions
• "Across The Dimensions" -- Description: Focus on a transcendent moment. "Artists are sensitive individuals. Who better, then, to try to capture the feelings that a human being experiences when something extraordinary happens and the veil between the worlds thins....?
• It need not be your own, personal experience (although those would be wonderful to hear about, and in particular, a spiritual transcendence) as long as you try to depict the strangeness, beauty, terror, or transcendence of the moment. Examples--an angel appears, an alien interacts with a human, a ghost is seen, or a vision occurs.
• Models may be imported and postwork is fine. The point here is not just to show an event happening, but to convey the emotional impact of the experience.

• Final render must be in Poser, any version.
• No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. Lets keep it clean.
• Please click here for a more descriptive definition and rules page and always remember the TOS.
• Open to all Renderosity members.
• Please keep the images to a maximum of 800 pixels by 600 pixels and not more than 150k.
• Thumbnail size must be 100 X 100 pixels.
• Challenge starts August 1, 2003 and ends Monday night, August 25th, 2003 at midnight Renderosity time.
• One image per person. Feel free to post your WIP's in the forum for feedback.
• The winner picks the next month's theme subject to approval by the challenge managers.

Judging / Voting:

• Voting will take place in the forum in a special thread after the challenge closes and is open to all forum members.
• Voting will begin at close of the challenge, Midnight, August 25th, 2003 and will close midnight, August 27th, 2003. The winners will be posted shortly after the close.
• In the thread, give 3 points to the best image, 2 points to the next best and 1 point to your third best choice.
• First place winner will be the one with the most points. Second and Third place accordingly.
• First place winner picks the theme for the next month, subject to approval with the challenge managers.
• Announcement of winners will be in the Poser forum as well as on the challenge page.

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder.
