CONTEST THEME: Moonlight Reflection!
Your contest image must show the Moon, AND its reflection in some form of water (puddle, birdbath, swimming pool, barrel of rain water,...). To make this contest unique, the water in your image CANNOT be the Sea/Ocean, a Lake or a river!

So, dive into the depths of your creative imagination, we look forward to your entry!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER? Open to all registered Renderosity members, administrators and moderators. The contest manager cannot enter.

WHEN DOES IT START? The contest starts on August 25, 2003 and will end on September 25, 2003 5:00 Renderosity time.

HOW THE WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED? Selected judges from our sponsors will vote to determine the winning entries, and the winners will be announced on September 30, 2003.

RULES: Please read carefully!
This is a Vue d'Esprit contest. Only objects that are in the OBJECTS FOLDER on the original Vue program can be used in your image, no import of objects generated in other software is allowed. Otherwise, everything must be modeled and mapped in Vue dEsprit by yourself; you can only use Vue d'Esprit primitives and procedural features (no bitmaps, jpgs etc. from outside). You cannot use objects from the Renderosity Free stuff area either.

1.) Entries must be related to the contest theme.

2.) Static images ONLY. Images MUST NOT EXCEED 800 pixels wide x 600 pixels high. Images Must Not Exceed 250 KB in file size. Images may be smaller, but must not exceed these guidelines. A thumbnail MUST be included; thumbnails MUST NOT EXCEED 100 pixles x 100 pixels and Not More then 12 KB in file size. Images MUST be in .JPEG (.jpg) format ONLY.

3.) All images MUST be created and rendered with Vue d'Esprit 4.x

4.) Only ONE image per person please - even if that person has multiple Renderosity accounts. In cases of multiple entries through clone member accounts, all entries in question will be disqualified.

5.) POSTWORK IS NOT ALLOWED AT ALL!!!. The contest manager reserve the right to request the original scene for comparison to the submitted image.

6.) All works must be your original works, and Cannot have been posted anywhere on the Internet [Cannot be published on your personal Web Site, nor your Renderosity Gallery], prior to the contest, or during the contest! Contest entries will only be allowed to be posted elsewhere AFTER the final judging and the winners have been selected.

7.) Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder.

By entering this contest, I agree to all of the above guidelines and rules. I understand that the Contest Manager has the right to accept or decline any submitted images, based on these guidelines and rules.
