Renderosity is sponsoring a year long contest. A Card Deck Contest! This will be a weekly contest where one card a week will be the highlight for each contest. So, kick it in gear and get ready for a rockin and rollin year contest. The community calendar lists each card contest for each week, if you like to plan ahead. This weeks contest will be the Ace of Diamonds. Since a Diamond is a treasure in its own right, this weeks theme will be "The Things We Treasure." Jewels, love, each other, five minutes alone, and so on. This means that your image should show something worth treasuring. Prizes: Grand Prize Winner This card will become part of the Card Deck. Cards will be available in the marketplace end of next year and the winner will receive a percentage of the sales. The winner of the Ace contest sets the template for the Diamond suite. Winner will have their suit and number design appear on all other cards within the specific suit. Receives a digital copy of the complete Deck of Cards Honorable Mentions for 2nd and 3rd Place Contest Rules: Image size must be 375 x 525 (winner will need to supply 750 x 1050 image for printing) Image in jpg or gif format The Winner of the Ace contest for each suit must provide Renderosity with a transparent gif of the suit for use on all other cards in that suit. Everyone except Renderosity Admins can participate No Nudity Only one winning image per person allowed. Once you have won a weekly contest you cant enter any future card contests. Only one entry per person per contest allowed. Post work is allowed - any software can be used. By uploading your image your are agreeing that this is your original works. Entry images should have the member's Renderosity username in the lower left corner. Proper card color must be used for the suit and number. ie: Red for Hearts and Diamonds, Black for Spades and Clubs. Cards must have suit and number in the upper left and lower right corners of the card. Do not place suit images anywhere else on the card. By uploading your image you are giving permission to Renderosity for the use of the images for an undetermined period of time. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder. Participants must have fun d:-) The Weekly Renderosity Card Contest for the Ace of Diamonds begins December 21st, 2001 and ends December 28th, 2001. Yeah, you have a week to get this card entered. The card contests are listed on the Community Calendar for those that want to get a head start. Community Voting begins December 29th - January 4th, 2002.
