Contest theme

The theme is "Sea Patrol" as described in images and text descriptions here .
Some of the models used in those images can be found here and here , but you can use other models instead if you wish.
(Synopsis: A possible near future or "alternate time line". All diving has been put under a tight naval / industrial control. Enforcing this is one of the duties of the inshore branches of the Sea Patrol.)
There is a set of Sea Patrol badges of various sizes in this zip file.

Contest Rules

• The contest starts immediately and will end on May 23rd 2004.
• Entries must be received by May 23rd 2004, 11:59p.m. Renderosity Server Time.
• Image size must be no larger than 800x800 pixels.
• Thumbnail size must be 100 X 100 pixels. (Required).
• The image should preferably (not necessarily) display at least one man in Sea Patrol uniform, or a diver whose diving suit displays Sea Patrol insignia, or a boat or underwater craft or other vehicle or on-land installation displaying Sea Patrol insignia.
• Image must be in jpg format.
• Any Renderosity member may enter.
• Only one image per person allowed.
• Post work is allowed.
• Any software application accepted.
• By uploading your image your are agreeing that this is your original work.
• Competition entries must not be posted in the ordinary gallery or the forums until the competition voting is over.
• Anthony reserves the right to remove entries which are:
  - Not near enough to topic.
  - Not within Renderosity's terms of acceptability for gallery images.
  - Too much like merely a re-make of existing images.

Voting / Judging

• The winners will be selected by community vote.
• Voting will open on May 24th 2004 and close on June 6th 2004.
• Winners will be announced on June 7th 2004.
• If the 1st place entry is sexy, the 2nd place will go to the best non-sexy entry. This is to try to avoid unfairness to members who have no aptitude or desire to make sexy images.

First place

• $50 MarketPlace Gift Certificate.

Second place

• $25 MarketPlace Gift Certificate.

Third place

• $10 MarketPlace Gift Certificate.

Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time.

The Artist will always remain the intellectual property & copyright holder.
