The Renderosity 2D Graphics Forum Contest/Theme Page has a regular
(usually monthly) challenge topic for Renderosity members to
practice and explore the boundaries of their 2D Graphic Art in

2D Graphics Forum Theme/Challenge
June/July 2004
Many thanks to
DoomsdayRenderer for June/July's theme idea!
- Idea proposal: Make an image where something should be but is
obviously (or maybe not so obviously) missing! :D Examples: house
with no roof, car without tires, elephant without trunk...
Here we have two images by one of my favourite artists, Rene
Magritte, where something is missing. In the left image, something
rather obvious is missing but has been replaced by a different,
unexpected object. In the image on the right the missing element is
not so obvious, but when you think about it, is glaringly evident!
(Hint: It has to do with a fellow named Newton and the object that
replaced the missing element in the picture at left!)
