And there was HDRI! In part two of our mouse modeling workshop you will now build a small scene and illuminate it using HDRI (additional lights are allowed, of course). Focus will be on the mouse so the scene does not have to be very elaborate - a mousepad, maybe some pens, part of a keyboard could be visible, and so on. You are pretty much free to model what you like so take a good look at your mouse and desk in front of you. Remember that the key element of the final render is the mouse so there's no need to build a complete room.
There's one final twist: you must use a HDRI probe from Kel Solar's Online Portfolio. You are not allowed to use anything else ;)
If you missed the last workshop
you can download nomenes' mouse model
here (72 KB).
After the workshop we will have a public vote to select who did the best/most original job and the winner (or winners) will get the Cinema 4D Forum Workshop Award for display on his or her homepage!
Have fun and don't forget to use the Cinema 4D forum if you need any help!
