Gwynhales Postwork Contest.
The goal is to create an image that avoids the uniform and flat
look of the 3D packages generally used by the members of this
community and to make your images visually interesting and unique
through the use of postwork.
HERE ARE THE RULES:
1. Contest will begin on
Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 12:00
am Renderosity server time (they are on CENTRAL Time, CST), and
end at
11:59 pm CST on Sunday, October 31, 2004. 2. Entries
must be submitted to the
"Gwynhales Postwork" Contest
area right here (see below). 3.The original image must be a 3D
creation. Use your favorite 3D package, NPR/Sketch render is OK 4.
ONE entry per person ONLY. 5. Postwork is
REQUIRED. Use any
available layers, filters of your favorite 2D software, just make
your image
DIFFERENT. This is not a hair/clothes painting
contest, so no extensive brush work, please. Fixing render errors
is OK. 6. You are free also to post your contest images in your
gallery once the image has been approved to the contest page with
comments and rankings enabled if you wish. 7. Work must be YOUR OWN
WORK -- ripoffs from other artists will automatically be
disqualified. 8. Work must also be NEW and not previously seen in
any gallery. 9. Image must comply with Renderosity
terms of
service. 10. Nudity is permitted in images. 11. Maximum image
size is 800 x 800 pixels. 12. This contest is open to everyone.

1st Place - $50 gift certificate to the
Renderosity
Marketplace 2nd Place - $30 gift certificate to the
Renderosity
Marketplace 3rd Place - $20 gift certificate to the
Renderosity

JUDGING:
Judges will be Gwynhale's offline friends. Winners will be
announced on or before Friday, November 5, 2004, at noon,
Renderosity time.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Innovation, visual interest Artistic merit (colour, lighting,
composition) Judges' decisions are
FINAL. HAVE FUN! :O)!!!!
Contest sponsors are responsible for getting the prizes to the
winners. Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of
submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is
strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the
contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property
holder.
