General Contest Rules:Contest Theme: "Dreams of Peace" as this phrase is interpreted by the artist.Contest begins Monday, November 22, 2004. Contest ends Monday, December 20th, 2004 at 11:59p.m. (23:59 Renderosity Server Time). Entries MUST be timestamped by 12/20/04 23:59, or cannot be accepted. Judging will take place Dec. 21st through Dec. 24th. Winners to be announced Friday, December 24th, 2004 on the Renderosity FrontPage, and this contest page. Only entry per person. (It can be one entry in either the Greeting Card "Still Images" category or the Animation category, but not both.) Specifications: To submit a new contest entry you will need: Image size must be 640 pixels width x 524 pixels height. Thumbnail Image: MUST be included. (100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format.) Both the image and the thumbnail are required. Contents: Entries must be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly. Entries must not appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been Posted. Must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service. No nudity (No bare nipples or genitals.) No sexual situations. No extreme or graphic violence.(Cartoon style "slap-stick" okay.) Only one image per person allowed (even if you have multiple accounts, only one entry per PERSON). No collaborative works. Any software can be used. Photography images included. By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions Judging: The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel - The Panel's decision is final. Judging will be based upon the following Judging Criteria Judging will be ranked by category on a scale of 1-10. Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions. All members, with the exception of those on the Judging Panel or current Admins, can enter. |
