All artists agree, by entering this contest, to allow Renderosity to use their entries for promotional purposes: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held as a part, or extension of this community.

By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant permission for non-commercial use of your image, either as a printed greeting card, background image, or other non-commercial use to the general public.

Renderosity and the sponsors do not seek ownership of any of the entries. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images.

Images may not be used for any commercial purpose without the express written contest of the artist.

General Contest Rules:

Contest Theme: "Dreams of Peace" as this phrase is interpreted by the artist.
Contest begins Monday, November 22, 2004. Contest ends Monday, December 27th, 2004 at 11:59p.m. (23:59 Renderosity Server Time). Entries MUST be timestamped by 12/27/04 23:59, or cannot be accepted. Judging will take place Dec. 28th through Dec. 30th. Winners to be announced Friday, December 31st, 2004 on the Renderosity FrontPage, and this contest page. Only entry per person. (It can be one entry in either the Greeting Card "Still Images" category or the Animation category, but not both.)

Specifications:
To submit a new contest entry you will need: Still image from animation in jpg or gif format. (800x600 or smaller) Thumbnail Image: MUST be included. (100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format.) Animation file. (Renderosity will be hosting the files.) Notes section MUST include: file size, length (viewing time), and format.
Animation specifications: Audio is optional, but desirable. (NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music.) Animation File Size: 10 meg maximum. Animation Dimensions: no larger than 400 (width) x 400 (height) pixels. Animation Time: between 10 - 60 seconds in duration. Animation formats: DivX, .avi, .mpg or standard .mov. Entries exceeding these size and time specifications, or use other file formats, or that the Renderosity Judging Panel cannot open or play, using standard players, will be disqualified.

Contents: Entries must be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly. Entries must not appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been Posted. Must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service. No nudity (No bare nipples or genitals.) No sexual situations. No extreme or graphic violence. (Cartoon style "slap-stick" okay.) Only one image per person allowed (even if you have multiple accounts, only one entry per PERSON). Any software can be used. By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions NOTE: Do NOT use someone else's copyrighted music. Judging: The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel - The Panel's decision is final. Judging will be based upon the following Judging Criteria Judging will be ranked by category on a scale of 1-10. Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions. All members, with the exception of those on the Judging Panel or current Admins, can enter.
