This digital painting, referenced from "Drawing The Human Head" by Burne Hogarth, first began as an outline. I then took it into PaintShop Pro 8 to digitally paint it, apply the mask, frame, a slight soft focus and lighting effects on his face and on the matting which surrounds his face.
