My apologies up front: Before uploading I noticed, that this image shows some similarities to the one done by DonaldC203. I am sorry for that, but it wasn't planned that way. I have been doing similar pictures for quite some time (some may remember my gasplanet-pictures on Renderosity). So, I did not try to copy your design. If this still is a problem, please remove this picture, I could also enter another picture into the contest. Galactic Holidays... The picture shows some Horushal Corp. Gasmines, slowly sinking down from orbit into the deeper clouds, where more valuable gasses may be harvested. Each gasmine ist little paradies for it's pilot and crew - but it is also a prison. Most gasminers are criminals, serving a lifetime sentence on the gasmines. Well anyway, it is better than meteorite mining or frontline-duty. Also in the picture are some Tenkten Inc. Perimeter Guard Probes (The ones surrounded by a small forcefield). These probes are here to keep friends of the crew from rescuing them and other corporations from stealing the valuable gasmines. Since it is still the same gasplanet that showed up in the first picture, the Quija-Birds are of course also around. The little bastards always seem to know when someone is taking a photograph. I was hoping to get a picture with one of the great hydrogen-creatures on them, but the gasmines stay away from those creatures. They may look timid, but they certainly know how to defend themselves. Well, I will try to get a picture of one of these creatures tomorrow. But I can assure you: HD 55435 - VI is really worth a visit.
