There are several things that inspired me to create this image . I would say the main ones are how the first snowfall puts me in the Christmas spirit ,the excitement of getting the Christmas tree as a child,how sunsets can be a magical moment in the day and the Christmas/Nativity story. I probably spent about 30hours on this over a 7 day period and everything was modeled in Carrara with the postwork done in Photopaint.
