I don't really watch much horror. But even I've picked up on a few things. If you hear a noise; 1 Don't call out "Who's there?" You just told the creep exactly where you are and you've let him know that you know he's there so there's no chance he'll over look you. 2 Don't go down into the dark basement, alone unarmed. Get help. Call for a professional, if nothing else he can serve as a distraction while you get away. One day to set up the scene, about 16 hours to render and one hour for post work.
