Look Out Behind You! Things evil and dangerous often creep up behind the victim in horror movies. This unfortunate young lady has encountered a large spider unaware that it is still a baby and its mother is creeping up behind her. We are about to hear a blood curdling scream when she finds out. The inspiration for the scene was the Giant Spider by Coflek Gnorg which reminded my of Them, the 1954 horror movie about giant ants. I set up the scene, props and lighting first in Poser 7. Then added and posed the characters and did a number of renders with different cameras and light adjustments. It took about 6 hours to get the final render. I did minor postwork in Photoshop, mostly to tweak the exposure and to resize for submission and make a thumbnail.
