My inspiration was the original "Dawn of the dead" which I begged my sister to take me to see as a child. I slept with my parents for a week with the lights on after that movie. My mother was not happy... I learned that even with the lights on, you are not safe. This project took me about 15 hours over the course of a week. I couldn't stop "refining" it or I could have been done in half the time. 3D Render time for the animation was approx 3 hours. I used Daz3d, Octane and After Effects with Video Copilot for the blood splatter on the lens/window. I used "MDD 5 Days of Ravage for V4.2" for the skin.
