Entry #8

"How do I wrap it?" How do I wrap it? It's bigger than me. How do I grab it? I just can't see. I can't touch it or feel it It's just to big and too bold. If I can't even find it Then the wrapping won't hold. How do I wrap it? I just don't know. If I can't even capture it Then it'll just grow. A bag won't hold it It's to flimsy and soft And a box can't contain it So it may float a loft For a love such as mine Can't be bought or sold It's the kind of love That never gets old. My wish for the world is peace, love and joy and a New Year that is grand for every girl and boy. 131 words Short-n-sweet... a little poem about love and the magic of Christmas. It's not really about the presents we get, or the wrapping paper. It's about the love we feel for family and friends... thus my inspiration. ENJOY!
