This image was kind of inspired by the headless horseman, the horsemen of the apocalypse and those nasty dark knights in the Lord of the Rings. Basically any bad guy riding a horse after dark. The image was created in photoshop from 6 different images blended together. Shadows, fog and the eyes were added using basic photoshop tools such as the paintbrush and the cloud filter. Images were patched and repaired using the clone tool and a bit of gaussian blur was used to help blend everything together. The image took about 6 hours to do. Most of the time was spent cutting around and repairing the images to remove items obscuring them from the original images.
