We don't do stocking and so on in our country for Christmas, since it's about more important things then that. But.... if we would do and I would give something to my family, it would be a ticket for a holiday week at this place..... who knows, we might stay there forever :) I'm sure we would all enjoy such a gift in our stockings.

Animals posed in Poser Pro 2012, cottage from Poser as well. Exported to Vue 204 Complete. I first placed the empty cottage in Vue and build a landscape around it. Picked an atmosphere and tweaked it until I had the lovely night effect. Placed the fence around it and ecopainted the trees and grass. The lamps are from the freestuff here. Placed lights inside the lamps and house and gave them a yellow shine for the effect. Positioned the animals and rendered the scene. I liked the result, but it wasn't finished. After looking at the render for a while I realized the cottage had no interior. Found an interior in Poser added it and the scene was finished. From start to finish it took me about 6 hours to create.

While thinking about the contest and especially the season it is in, I thought of the perfect gift to give. Instead of giving something that last for a little while, I decided to give something that creates lasting memories. Whenever we drive somewhere as a family, we always look at the houses we pass and which ones we would love to live in. All of us always pick the lovely cottages. That's what inspired me, so I created this images to portray a gift that would give lasting memories of joy, peace and bonding as a family.
