CHRISTMAS LIMERICKS
The holiday season is here!
Spend time with the ones you hold dear.
For all to have fun,
one thing must be done:
keep Uncle away from the beer.
Look at all these stockings to stuff,
one fluffy, one silky, one rough,
with goodies galore.
Go back to the store!
You may not have have bought quite enough.
A grandmother known for her thrift
thought of an appropriate gift
to give to young Ben.
Though, pennies again
might cause just a bit of a rift.
When trimming the tree, Kate just might
fuss over the spot for each light.
She measures the space
between each light's place
and won't stop until they're just right.
He lives at the chilly North Pole.
Delivering gifts is his role.
To get them all right
in only one night:
so very ambitious a goal.
Oh, Santa! How nice you dropped in.
Refreshments before you begin?
Have cookies and cream!
To me it would seem
you're getting a little too thin.
"How should I fill up this last sock?"
Thought Nick, as he sat like a rock.
"Yes, something to eat,
an orange or a sweet,
though garlic would be quite a shock."
To Renderosity friends here,
I'm wishing you holiday cheer.
May you have a blast
and renders go fast.
So, have a fantastic New Year!
