About the connection between feathers.

The feathers of a bird form a fixed pattern,
that they are connected with each other is therefore quite common.
But, would the bird miss some feathers, its beauty can be destroyed.
Therefore, let the critters show off their beautiful plumage.
Anyway I guess, about the connection between feathers is still too little thought .
