I always wanted to travel the world to all the remote and beautiful places one don't normally get to see.  However, the idea of traveling endless hours on noisy, droning aircraft, and crammed into crowds like cattle is rather unappealing.  Therefore, the ultimate vacation would be to go to these places on alternative modes of air travel where all I hear is the rushing of the wind and the beating of my own heart.
