"The Birth of Something Wicked"

I got the hospital corridor set years ago and was wondering what else I could do with it.  I also stumbled across old Poser content for making the large window when I imported over my old Runtime folders. That made me think of a newborn nursery. And with this years theme of "Goblins, Ghouls, and Ghosts" and my eldest's love of HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu stories, this all just fell together.  

I just got Poser 11, upgrading from Poser Pro 2012 after so many years, and used it for this image.  The three main characters are Toon Hiro, Toon Baby, and Toon Aiko, all from 3d Universe.  I got the tentacles here at Renderosity. And the nursery bassinets are something I found when I got Poser 4. 

The image took about 3 hours to compose and then about six hours to try different rendering and lighting techniques before finding one that fit the image.  (By the way, no toon babies were harmed in the making of this image.)
