I've always found the idea of the ghoul to be the most frightening of the classic horrors, so I combined it with my love of tacky old novels to create this.

I created the characters and rendered them in Poser 11 Pro for a layered output and toon outline. After some adjustments, I took the result into ArtRage and attacked it with brush and knife. This went back into PS Elements 8 to be worked into a book cover.

The figures are, of course, V4 and M4, while the fonts are Bridgeport, Stonehouse, Ripley, and Sigmar One.

I really couldn't say how long it took, as I worked on it a bit here and there during lunch breaks last week.
