Entry #92

3 o'clock tea

On one of the last, warm fall afternoon two goblin friends meet for tea. Chatting about the daily troubly and beauties a ghost girl serves the tea to them in a cosy, secluded pavillion away from the hustle and bustle of the street.

media used: one full and several partial render in DAZ Studio 4.9; all renders were combined in photoshop where the images were cleaned up, the ghost figure was created and details were added.

inspiration: I remembered a funny image I had seen years ago, where the artist depicted two classical fantasy archetypes in a very unusal setting. It reminded me that we all have our expectations once we hear the word 'goblin'. We have a rough idea what we would expect to see - but this artist simply played with my expectations. Thus I wanted to create a similar effect: everyone can recognzise and identify with the scenery but finds the slight oddity that goblins and not humans are depicted in it.

time frame: less than 18h I think - most time took the rendering

Hope you enjoyed it!
