"Out of the Mist"
This was a quickly pieced together image using various test renders of characters that I did for another idea, which was slowing my computer to a snails pace.
I wanted to create a render with some "cartoony like" creatures rather than more graphic realistic looking ones as you can exaggerate features more. I was inspired by various old cartoons and stereotypical ideas of Goblins, Ghosts and Ghouls. The characters were rendered at various points over the past few weeks in Daz Studio, only taking about 15 minutes to render each one. The background was rendered in Bryce 7.1. I spent about an hour putting the characters, backgound and effects together in Photoshop Elements 11 along with adding the mist using a cloud brush. In total including making the morphs in Blender the image probably took about 2 days on and off.
