"Contemplating the Hunt"

Inspired by a wide assortment of fantasy Anime movies long past, from the 80's and 90's. I really wanted to capture the feel of an anime "poster book" style for both my character and the image for my entry.

Anime Girl Kristin and accessories created by me (quite some time ago) and inspired by various anime artists including the style of Masamune Shirow with additional scene props from various sources. Trees by Mapps, Log from Beach scene from DAZ, environment from Faerie Forest also from Daz.

Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.7, with anime inks effects added with post-work in Filter Forge 4. This image took several days to assemble and set up, after finding what I needed to flesh out the scene in my DS library (which is quite extensive). The image was rendered in roughly 10 hours in Studio with 5 distant lights and ray-traced reflections.
