Pop Idol - a render using Poser Pro 11 SuperFly renderer and Cycles Surface and Physical Surface cel-shader trees (no Poser Surface shaders rendered here). I customised the Poser Lo Res Male to make him into an anime-style Ikemen (cool-looking guy). I modelled his clothes using Shade 3D and fitted them in Poser - the shoes and pants are rigged, while the jacket is a dynamic cloth. I generated his hair using Blender3D particle emitter, and converted it into broad strips of OBJ hair, then created a Physical Surface shader tree for use inside Poser. I generated the eyebrows using MakeHuman, and converted them into props for use inside Poser. I created the Cycles shader for the eyebrows. The pose is an original pose by me. His right hand is making the Japanese sign for Kitsune (Fox spirit), and his left hand signs V - the usual photo pose (does not mean Victory or peace, nowadays !). The stars, arrow heads, and digital billboards were modelled by me using Shade 3D, Cycles Surface shaders devised by me. The billboards contain images of my Ikemen Pop Idol, which were also rendered separately using Poser, then applied using a custom Cycles Shader to make them appear stylised. The background environment uses SnarlyGribbly's EZDome with an HDRI by Dan Meyer. The Ground cycles shader is by me. I based my anime Cel-shader Cycles Surface shaders on work by Sunsuke Irie and Sanne, of the Blender 3D NPR expertise community. (NPR = Non-Photorealistic Rendering).
