Done in Poser 10 (Firefly render) in four separate layers, assembled with post-work added in Adobe Photoshop (CS5). From initial concept to completed image took about a week of work, a few hours per day.

My interpretation of the theme focused on the different generations of the same creature, and how war/torture/hatred could exist between those different generations. Here a vampire that was turned as a young girl is exacting some fairly horrific revenge on a vampire elder. Could it be the very elder that turned her? The story is yours to write.
