The inspiration for this video is from the Dance-Off battle genre of movies, or to be more precise the parodies of such things in places like Meet the Spartans (dance off before the climax battle) and Arrested Development (when Tobias Funke purchases a failing club). Rather than resorting to weapons, magic or plain ol' kicks and punches, a dance-off can declare winners of any wars with smooth, sweet moves alone. 

This though isnt the actual dance-off, its a snippet of the smack-talking bit between the demon champ 'Classic Man' and the new kid on the block, OG Predator. The smack-talking is after all a very important ingredient in any bona-fide dance-off. 

Programs used: Daz3D with Iray, Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, IMovie and Garageband.

Time taken: A few weeks*. 

*I had intended to post an entire battle style dancing sequence in this trailer which runs into around 35 seconds of added footage. But with a horrible streak of bad luck, one of my storage harddisks failed after more than a week of non-stop rendering and I lost more than 800 frames of rendering material. I despaired and threw in the towel (before I noticed the contest extension) but I resolved to salvage what few frames I had as backup and cobbled together Something for submission. Though this submission is nowhere near what I could have submitted if fate had been kinder, I hope you folks find something worth your interest in this small piece.
