Queen for an Eternity

The war is over and this time humanity has lost. Well, at least a good number of humans and a couple of non-humans.

The inspiration for this piece was the Queen figure itself. Tell the truth I started this image ten or so years ago when the figure of the majestic old gal made the poser scene. I created the laying pose, then in a separate file started to group up eggs and then gave up in frustration from CPU limitations I was having at the time. That and the lack of a “Big Chap” figure that I liked. Of course that changed when Swidhelm came along.

Since then I got a new desktop and Poser11. I restarted work on the image last weekend and have been working on it every evening since, not even intending to enter it into the contest until last night. I’ve now considered the work to be “finished” since when I attempt to add more to it, Poser crashes.
