In the eyes of children we find the joy of Christmas. In their hearts we find its meaning. The little girl is a friend's daughter, she insisted on wearing her favorite polar bear cap and snuggling with her old teddy bear. The Christmas tree in the background is my actual tree. I love the sparkle in her eyes as she describes how hard it is to go to sleep on Christmas Eve. I remember as a child, the same sense of excitement as my father read Twas the Night Before Christmas to me and my sisters..
